I tested on Chrome 71 on a desktop that does not have an webcam or microphone connected. I tested on the https://demo.flashphoner.com: 1) I started a stream on the Streamer example 2) I verified on the Player example on another web browser tab on the same laptop that the streaming works 3)...

The player does play the streaming video when there is no media device on the computer.

I am not sure what the latest fixes are about but the current status is: Application Window and Chrome Tab do not work for screen sharing.

Is there any update with this? We are still unable to screen share the Application Window on the latest Chrome.

So, in the case that you have only a couple of streams that need transcoding it would be better to have a few but powerful cores (i7) versus more and weaker (Xeon). Is that right?

Can you tell whether Flashphoner performs better on a Xeon or i7? Does, for example, the transcoding performs faster or one or the other CPU?

After doing an upgrade to the newest version the rest app methods for a specific app were lost. I had to add them all again.

Would you recommend to create 5 mixers for each presenter that will exclude the presenter who will playback it? What is the CPU impact for generating a mixer?

The problem is now gone.

The latest Chrome version provides a sound option with the screen share. How does that affect broadcasting? Should we explicitly attach audio on the CreateStream or leave it to Chrome to take care of it?

On the other hand, the Media Devices example works fine, it was displaying "Failed to get media devices" error message previously. Maybe I am testing wrongly because the Streamer example might require a webcam to be present in order to stream, thus it fails.

Sorry, I copied pasted the versions from a wrong demo server by mistake. I tested with the latest version and the problem still persists. We test on a laptop which has a key that disables the webcam, on hardware level I suppose.
