I have a steam encode by Flash Media Live Encoder to WCS and its working fine on Player sample. When I try the HLS player sample, I get "The media could not be loaded........" error message.
And audio codec? If Mp3 (not supported), or stream has video only, there is currently such limitation that HLS player will not play stream without audio.
Seems Flash Media Live Encoder only support MP3 audio. You mention about HLS player will not play stream without audio, what about other support client ?
I've try play the stream from VLC and iOS safari but still no luck.
FMLE on Mac OS supports AAC audio codec. This codec should be supported.
So you can try
1. FMLE on Mac
2. Wirecast
3. OBS Studio
or another encoder supporting H.264 video + AAC audio
