Good day. Please check if your WCS server is avalable (answered to ping etc) from other your client PCs. Check also if all the necessary ports are open on your WCS server. And yes, HTTPS is required in most cases (in modern browsers stream publishing even does not work via insecure connections).

You can install some http server, Apache for example. Then, copy the WCS_HOME/client2 folder to Apache webroot folder, set up access rights, and all sample applications will be available without login requirements. You can delete all sample applications that you do not need.
