Screen Share Stream poor Quality in Mixer

Hi

We have implemented screen share into a conference and one the screen share stream is published and added to the mixer, the result is a very poor quality video, the screen details are barely visible

Is there anything specific that we need to do to increase the quality of the screen share stream in the mixer?

Hello

First of all try to play a single stream without Mixer and make sure this stream is playing properly.

1. Open Media Devices sample


2. Set resolution 1920 x 1080

3. Click Connect then Publish. Then switch Screen Sharing control to ON. As a result you will share screen.

4. Try to play this stream using Player
and check playback quality.

In our test quality is very good. Bitrate is about 1.25 Mbit per second. Resolution 1920x1080.

Are you putting similar quality stream into the mixer? Could you put the stream into the Mixer using Media Devices and REST API?
