Good day.
We've fixed this issue in WCS build 5.2.142. Please update and check.
Note that stream rotation logic is slightly changed, the recording fragments are numbered even if file name template has {startTime} and {endTime} parameters.
Indexing can be disabled if necessary with the following parameter

record_rotation_index_enabled=false

We've done verification on the build 5.2.155 and confirmed the shortening recordings is fixed.

We've run into another issue now. The recordings can increase in time.

The metadata is always 5 minutes, but the content in the file can be more than 5 minutes.
