RTSP Streaming issue

We are having an issue streaming an RTSP in the WCS. The stream connects and WCS Player says it's "playing" but the stream doens't populate I can get the stream to work fine in VLC. We have the latest version of WCS installed. We have server logs prepped and ready to send. What's the best method: post here or send an email to support@flashphoner.com and reference this ticket?

We collected logs and dumps and raised the ticket WCS-3084. Will let you know in this topic. Please do not drop access, we may need it to test the fix if the server is not in production use of course.

Will do, thanks. Please note the stream URL sometimes will not load on the first attempt (even in VLC). This is a known MaxPro issue. After about 15-20 seconds the streamURL will be able to play normally.

The stream can be played in latest WCS build 5.2.906 with the following parameter in

flashphoner.properties

file

h264_check_and_skip_annexb=true

Hello, we are running into a similar issue again on a separate Flashphoner server for the same client. They are on the 5.2 version and we applied the same MaxPro specific property as above but are still failing to display the RTSP stream in the WCS. Video works in VLC. We removed ALL firewall rules to rule that out for the WCS server and still ran into issues (though all specified FW rules are open per your documentation).

If i resend the remote connection information and new WCS location is this something that can be checked out again?

They are on the 5.2 version and we applied the same MaxPro specific property as above but are still failing to display the RTSP stream in the WCS.

Please check if latest WCS build is used on the server, the property recommended above is available since build 5.2.636.
If the problem is reproducing with the latest build, please provide us remote connection information and RTSP URL using this form

Good day.
Since build 5.2.946, the parameter h264_check_and_skip_annexb is removed from settings, and AnnexB frames are detected and played automatically.
