Hello!

We have an environment with two different CCTV providers. One works perfectly. The other one's DVR, branded "DigiEye", we can request trough its API the RTSP stream that works on VLC but does not work on WCS.

We're sending the report over email.

Thanks and best regards!

Good day.
Please provide a public RTSP URL to test using this form.
If you cannot provide it, please collect a traffic dump using Wireshark at VLC side:
- run Wireshark, start a traffic dump collection
- run VLC, start to play the RTSP URL
- after a minute, stop playing
- stop traffic dump collection and save the dump
Then archive the traffic dump and send using this form.

We checked the dump. Unfortunately, there is no any RTSP session in it:

Please see the example RTSP session dump screenshot from docs:

Please collect a correct dump or provide a valid RTSP URL for us to test.

Hi!

So far we can't provide a full dump, but we've find out that during VLC play there are not any RTSP, only TCP and RSL traffic as shown bellow:

With the videos in our other DVR vendor (Ganz) it happen almost the same, the packets captured with source the DVR and dest. the VLC computer does only see "malformed" RDT traffic:

But in that case, the "Embed player" feature on WCS works perfectly.

Please provide a valid RTSP URLs for both sources to compare and test using this form. We can't even detect a model by a brand name (Ganz, DigiEye etc) so stream access is needed.
Or you can provide SSH access to the WCS instance and private RTSP URLs available from the server using this form.

Hello Max, in order to provide the requested data we'll need Flasphoner to sign a NDA, how can we get in direct contact to get the information of a valid signer on your side?

Hello Max! After a long NDA development we send the document proposal by email a couple days ago, may you please ask to check spam folder as it went there last time?
Thanks and best regards!

Hello Max. Finally the security team allowed to share the dump file (after cleaning up some confident data), so I just uploaded the file through the form.

Thanks for reviewing!
